Well both Projectors are made in Taiwan (Ray/Spyder are just the distributors)... So there is no real company unless you find out which manufacturer made it in Taiwan then that would be your answer!

Have you opened them yet? If so, how hard were they to get open? I ask because I may buy them and want to put in a HID kit later, unless I'm duly satisfied with the LEDs.

ummm well the LEDS are not driving lights.... they are used more for turn signals.

Ah well then color me confused, I thought the main bulbs were Super Bright LEDs or whatever. So they're just plain old regular bulbs then? That's good, I suppose, as long as they're brighter than the stock ones. Still, have you cracked them open yet or anything? I think I read...somewhere in the forums that it was a pain in the a-- but I can't remember which article it was.
