Dude you have ALL the mazda rare parts on your car!!!
Well "Roadster" stickers would be odd since they aren't going on a Miata  I left the mazdaspeed and MS-01R stickers on.

... and yes I do have ALL the mazda rare parts on my cars 8) That's what my International Projects are all about :o

speaking of suspension...

In July I attempted to fit a set of 99-03 Protege K-Sport coilovers to the DD... the fronts fit just fine (just needed a few spacers around spindle bolts) but the rears would not go at all and I didn't want to modify... full details here: http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=77555

After driving with the fronts on for a couple weeks, I decided I really liked them so I bought a brand new set for the mx-3. After installing the mx-3 set and riding on them for a week, I think I'm going to lower the rears another inch or so since I wasn't sure how far up I wanted to raise the suspension. I don't have any pics of the stance right now...

I decided to go with the Kontrol Pro since it's milder than the other 2... Maybe I'll get one of the more hardcore versions for the Race Car.

Sexy coilovers Mark!!

How much did they set you back though? You're tempting me with those...

How's the ride quality? Compared to stock? Have you tried KYB/Intrax, and if so, how did that compare?

I've only ever run stock, KYB + Intrax and Tokico + Intrax. I'd say that these are definately a little more "bouncy" than any of those, but I love them, they are not harsh and give me good performance in the turns!

I was all set to get them for $875 shipped but then the place checked with Ksport who had just raised their prices... Ended up paying $1050 shipped. Well worth it IMO for what I got compared to the old setup: intrax springs $250, KYB were $300, strut mounts, etc another $200 or so

I'll probably be selling the old setup...

Damn. That puts it about... double my budget

I'm pleased with the handling and feel of the KYB/Intrax, but the car hits my driveway no matter how slow or careful of angled my approach. :( Have you tried stock springs + KYB struts before by any chance? Also, which mounts are on the set you're selling?

Great update Mark.

I really like that the Ksports also have the chamber plates... AST doesn't have them :(

how long did it take you to put on all 4 moon? I been trying to find time to fit mine but i been so busy lately. I also cant wait until you officially have those ms-01Rs on. It will tell me how much im willing to pay and how bad i want to get the ms-01s for my a spec touring kit mx-3. I been waiting awhile for them to pop up on astinagt and i know when they do ill be paying a pretty penny for them...to bad there only 15" instead of 17" but hey i still love em but i think i might be better off getting ms-01rs like yours because they are ALWAYS up on that forum. :freak:
