Hey, gang, I didn't mean to imply that they are going to be a bunch of money. I was just responding to posts that implied that we'd pay whatever for them. I'm sure they know marketing, and I think they will offer them for a decent price. I just would like this to be considered like a group buy.. If they KNOW they will be selling, say 50 units, right away, they can be comfortable not buffering their profit margin, not knowing how fast they will sell. That's why I was able to sell the slim visors for barely more than I pay for them; I'll get my money back, soon, and won't have to sit, wondering.
For instance, if they need to get sell 50 units @ $170, to start making a profit, they can sell them to 50 of us for $200 within a week, and be ahead, instead of what is usually done; Sell them @ <$300 for the first 50, over who knows how long.
After our bulk buy, they can Ebay them for $250, and wholesale them, for a slower, steady profit.
I don't mean to conjecture, and cause more confusion. I just wanted to unify us, as a demographic.

Can we get a reply from spyder? or someone on the status of our lights?!

I think you guys are being way to unreasonable. I don't think a lot of you fully understand how long this takes and how much of a pain in the a** it is to make this happened. I'm very anxious as well but I think we all need to have patients. As I've been sayin all along.

Judging by the completeness of thier prototype and how extensive the catalogue of lights they've already manufactured is, I'd say chances are slim this project is gonna get dropped. These guys look like they know what they're doing, and they've been doing it a while.

People have been asking for projectors on this board since 2001, what's another few months?

Just got off the phone with one of the sales rep's from Spyder. He told me that they had to make some modifications so that the projector would be a perfect fit. So this way there would be no hacking like the projectors from the 2001-2003 Honda. He said that the first batch would be in 2-3 months. And the price range would be any where from $200-400. No price is set on these yet. And yes they are compatible with the HID kits.

Thing that's wierd, how can they start producing headlights without knowing a price?

Lets just be patient and wait to see how it turns out.
