Why are you letting the car rest on the rotors when there is no lugs holding them in place? That is gonna mess up your rotors/calipers/pads... :freak:

Other then that, good work. That is cool that your old man is heping you.. My dad just thinks my car is to loud and WAY to low

Well I just think rotors were not designed to hold the weight of the car.

Dont be a n00b and cut a coil or get dropzones. Get some H&R or Intrax or some Eibach lowering springs (all around 200$ new) and go from there.

Oh i Just LOVE coming up with the stupidest ideas! Nobody slam me for these retarded things i say just give me a straight answer! hahaha okay

what happens if i cut off my exhaust directly after were the four seperate pipes on the header come together and than run 2.25 piping all the way to my muffler, no cat no resonator? what would that do?

It will be loud and you might fail emissions testing or get in trouble if a cop pulls you over and sees that you've removed the cat.

p.s. there are bugs in your paintjob :freak:

It would be raspy as hell. No cat sounds good, deep a little raspy. No res sounds not bad IMO, but kinda loud. No nothing...unbearable.

As for lowering. H&R's are the favorite I think. They will bring you down 1-1/2" or so. I think most people would say that GC's with KYB struts is the best combo for ride and cost. I personally run Eibach springs and Tokico struts both made for the Escort ZX2. They lower the car the least, about 1", which is what I wanted and they are very comfortable.

94' GS, black on black, now in several small pieces...and one large crushed piece.

2¼" is too big for a mostly stock 1.6. I have 2¼" on my heavily modified 2.5L. Maybe the right size would come up in a search. For at least the V6's, our exhaust was well planned. I think the stock piping without anything but a [good] muffler (after you get emmissions tested) would gain you some throttle response, couple MPG, couple HP, and ALOT of sound.
You're lucky you didn't get slammed about the coil-cutting idea. I've flamed people pretty hard for that
I have H&R springs/ Gabriel struts, and in my humble opinion, it's the best combo. I've driven MX-3s with almost all the other good combos.

Yeah that was the first coat of paint and we weren't worried about making it dustfree yet it is now sanded again after those glossy pictures... the final coat goes on very sooN!

Like i said i like just throwin ideas out there! haha well when i got the 2.25 cat back i noticed a huge difference and my mx-3 has a very low tone raspy sound kinda like a wrx with some honda thrown in with it. very cool sound.

Believe me, it's much better to have you ask about stuff like that, than to have you ask "How do I fix having the rear spring sticking through my trunk?" I thought the same thing a long time ago, since cutting springs was normal when I first started building cars, and you were a twinkle in your folks eyes.
Let me know if you ever need a hand with stuff.
