clutch came yesterday, here she is:

ordered my steal braided clutch line from corksport should be here soon.

i also had knee surgery last monday on the second, so this is going on hold for a bit. but on the plus side im going to be a very active member of mx-3.com :)

Be ready for a clutch that grabs... and I mean grabs really well.
Great choice, but wayy expensive.

he changed the booster, not the master.

oh ya, driven jwmx3's car a very long time ago with this clutch and fell in love. it cost me $480.00!!!!!

I totally stole your brake booster idea. Pulled the booster off a 94 MX-6 this afternoon. Not a super fun job under the MX-6 dash. I hope it goes into the MX-3 easier than it came out of the MX-6. Did you replace your Master Cylinder retainer and seal or were you able to reuse the old ones?

no i used my mx3 master. you have to modify inside mx6 booster tho :wink: i dont want to give it all away.

Very nice Matt... I noticed that the FPR vaccum line goes right to the Intake Manifold, is this just for the ZE to bypass the sensor thats on the K8's?

Also thats one hell of a 90' bend! I heard some guy in Ajax did this also... but he used the stock MX3 booster and just changed the Throttle body butterfly wheel to the K8 on when using the ZE throttle body somehow...

without using the mx6 booster it would be seriously close to that master

yeah i never noticed that about the fuel pressure regulator. weird! i hope it doesnt throw a code.

im thinking of using the k8 throttle cable linkage on the ze. i was going to use the k8 tb and just get it bored out but mx3autozam told me the iac would be too close and it would never idle right.

i think im going to go into the garage right now actually and start putting my drive shafts back in. i want this done!!

Hey no hoarding information...the forum is all about sharing new ideas...not figuring something out and keeping it a secret. Tell me this...does it require power tools? A machine shop? I'll figure it out once I get everything apart but a heads up would be cool.

it reguires a

cut off tool, die grinder, bench grinder, tap set and welder.

you need to take the booster apart. when you go to fit the master into the mx6 booster you will understand.

i recommend getting a mx3 master cylinder from a junk yard to do this with.

Hey I agree about sharing new ideas...... But i think we should wait until the car is operational and road tested before everyone starts going and messing with their brakes ! safety first ! I said hoard until proven :)

Motor looks great in there man. I like this build so far. Keep it up!

p.s. I hope that you do not have the same issues as I did with the wiring and the disty.

Oh idk, I am still not sure if I have exactly pinpointed the issue, but it was hell to deal with. I was just saying I hope that you don't deal with the same issue haha. Keep up the good work man, cant wait to see the finished product :welder:
