a good hint for when to stop painting your interior - when it starts peeling and bubbling off previously painted parts. there is a very good chance the heat comming out of those vents will cause it to peel and bubble faster. unless you prepped them differently than you did the door handles..not tryin to flame cus it does look cool, just not once it starts peeling and bubblin :freak:

The only peeling and bubbling from painting is the door handle trim (easy repaint), vents and trim have never given me any problem :)

Installed Seat Covers from that eBay seller today. The metal rings (hogrings?) that hold on the covers were a pain to get off, there are tons of them. Anyways I got off the old ones and attached them with strong (military strength) cable ties. I patched up the drivers side seats since the foam got torn from so many times in/out. I will take pictures of the finished product tomorrow...

New on right, old on left (can't see much of a difference but trust me there is!)
Image
Old, stained and worn. Not as bad as many I've seen though! I will be selling my passenger side since it is not torn if someone wants it for their driver's side... they are pretty much interchangable.

That bluish patch was already on my seats... hmm...

All Patched up

Missing something...

Finished pictures tomorrow when its sunny :)

Installed my OEM euro strut bar...
Image
Also got this e-brake gaiter from a seller on eBay... he sent me a couple that didn't fit and then this one which fits just fine! I think he had some trial and error but its real leather and he will customize the color stitching for you (green wasn't my first choice, would rather it match the seats but oh well!)

And I got my slim visors! thanks Fowljesse!

It's looking fantastic!
You could get some bronze paint, and a tiny paintbrush, and paint each green stitch. It would be worth it.
Just so people know, the tape is there to hold the visors in place whilst the 2 sided tape cures.

Not much progress just fixing up little things, replaced my hatch after having the window shatter and now have a JY hatch (not in the best shape). No more rear window tint too lol. Would love to see the lexan window GB go through. Also changed the VC gasket and stopped the oil leak there... still have an alternator belt slipping it has been for a while. Thought it was that oil leak but post fix it is still slipping each start. May have another small oil leak neat the timing cover making the belt slip, still seems like there is some fresh oil on the bottom of the motor from somewhere
Just some recent pictures after a nice wash/wax...

Call me strange, but I actually prefer the airbag wheel over the Eunos wheel. :?
