I asked about having them duplicated awhile back if anyone was intrested i was going to have them done in CF instead of the plastic, not many were interested. I would need to have a set so that the company can use them for the mold for the CF ones. The down side was the originals would end up being ruined but i had it planned give a free set to who ever provided the original slim visors for the GB... But like i said, very few were interested

Very interested. Curious to know how they are fastened to the car. Screws through A-pillar?

I believe it is 3M double sided tape. You wipe both surfaces down with alcohol pads then apply the tape... it recommends you let it set for 24 hours....

I would be interested in a CF set but I am debating if I should take the ones off of the fast car and donate them for the project. I just don't think the CF will be as thick and that would be a problem since the wind can catch the front edge and rip them off.... (especially if you drive as fast as I do)

i think they'd be ok. when i first put mine on, i was worried they'd fly off, but 1) that 3M tape is REALLY tough -- so much that i think the visor would break before it'd fly off. and 2) i was still worried about them coming loose somehow, but i placed my hand right on them when driving on the highway as a test. the way the air flows around the car, there's very little force on the visors at all. it's not like those eye brows that are right on the front of your car, having constant drag force on them. i hear those fly off all the time

Well i was originally quoted roughly 125 a set which is a really good deal, I more than likely wont take on this project till the new year, and i cant give a deffinet turn around time but i would say probably 2 months tops it all depends on the shop
