guys a question, K8 INtake on KLZE? makes sence or no? beacause the K8 intake has that port on top of it

You'd restrict airflow.

I also have a question

What mod's should be done if you would put a Millenia intake on a straightneck klze ?

None, just bolt it on. But remember you will need to have an ecu that matches the VRIS point.

or probinator can chip your k8 ecu, then you dont have to replace your VAM or so he claims. I need to know if all of the stuff conected to my straight neck klze will bolt up to a curved neck. vris, throttle body, ect.

Look for the MS8 intake to replace the KL-ZE intake manifold....Ports n all match up and the fuelrailsa are just as large as the ZE's...Hope this helps :)

OK, so I tried to read as much as possible and understand as much as possible. Still very very very new to this whole thing. Questions are almost haunting me...

So, i want to get a KLZE dropped into my mx3 (australian eunos 30x). From what i understand the KLZE is a 2.5L V6 24-valve? They come with straight neck manifolds...so in addition to buying the KLZE I also need a KL47 IM?
OK, does the throttlebody of my current K8 manifold fit onto a KL47 IM? Or would i need to also buy a KL47 throttlebody?
And, from what i understand the ECU has to be chipped? And will the VAF fit the KL47 IM (the electrical port and wiring) and if it does fit will it give the correct air?

Sorry for ignorance if I messed something up.

Thanks for any help!

P.S. What is 'no EGR'? And...what are vaccums used for?..again, sorry for ignorance.

basically from what i know and this is coming from this forum one way or another ... you are right.. klze comes with the straight neck.. however some versions of the klze has the long curved neck with the square ports which comes off the mellenia or 626 eunos 800 so if you get that one it should fit the klze and vaf and all connectors should work... most people advise not to keep the k8 IM because it's D shaped whereas the klze is square ports so u have less air resistance and better throttle response... you just have to find that post where it has detailed explanation and part codes for the different variations of the kl family i believe it's in the v6 faq or v6 performance forum... hopefully that helps

Do you mean a kl31/36 ecu is wrong for this setup?

Yes.

Do a search, Been covered many, many, many time.

kl31/36 ecu = Straight Neck ZE

Curved neck Vris is;
ON OFF
Vris 1 3750 6200
Vris 2 4250 6200

Straight Neck Vris is;
ON OFF
Vris 1 3800 6600
Vris 2 4800 6600

From what i understand there is no difference between curved neck KLZE and straight neck? (performance wise)
Because i found a curved neck klze engine and just wondering if i'm getting the max. potential.

Curved neck manifolds have different VRIS points than straight necks. The ECU's are set up for the manifolds on the cars they came in.

So it depends on what manifold you're driving to set the vris points?

The whole principle of VRIS is based on resonance, each intake manifold is different in shape, therefore each has different points of resonance.
kl31/36 - straightneck VRIS
k8 - k8 intake VRIS
k8 with millenia probinator chip - curved/millenia intake VRIS
kl01 - klde intake manifold VRIS ?

I want to use MSD digital RPM window switches to control my vris so my ecu doesn't matter.

I would need the vris point for curved, but according to probetalk the optimum vris are @ 4000 & 4800 (i guess for straight neck ze's?)
