Heh.. Nice save LOL

There is truth to the Matlock and Murder She Wrote thing though.. those are my mothers favorite shows.. that and old Perry Mason reuns if she can find them. At least she isnt addicted to Soap Operas like my grandmother was. As for being old.. eh.. its just a state of mind.. some folks live in a better state than others ;) For me... I find that I am often visiting the state of confusion most frequently :D

I can't imagine what kind of crap I'll be wanting to watch when I get old, and when I say old, I mean any age over 97. I'll probably end up watching re-runs of Saved By The Bell. :)

My father's wife is addicted to The Golden Girls. That show is really horrible. But she taped every damn episode. And she's really proud of the fact that the Elvis impersonator who did their wedding in Vegas, is the same impersonator in one of the episodes of The Golden Girls. Freakin' crazy.

But, I don't know what's funnier, the fact that she's so addicted to an awful show about 4 old lesbians (they gotta be) who live together, or the fact that my father actually had an Elvis impersonator at his wedding.

Speaking of Elvis.. that reminds me of a funny story about a comedian..

I was at the Improv in seattle years ago.. Was there with a couple of friends and there was a young comic doing the opening act.. for whatever reason.. he thought it was funny that he named his manhood "Elvis" and was doing all those typical Elvis type poses.. guess he thought it was funny.. what I thought was funny was the guy at the table next to me yells out "Dude.. Elvis is dead!!!" For whatever reason.. this comedian had not thought of such a obvious heckler opportunity and was rather dumbfounded and speechless for a couple of moments.. felt sorry for him afterwards.. but that heckler made his act worth watching ;)

Serious! Its something that we both watched as children growing up and will always enjoy. Plus it was pretty hillarious for its time.

93SOHC,

Well, I'm sorry you had to grow up watching horrible TV shows like the Golden Girls. Haha, kidding. The thing that gets me is the fact they actually put it on DVD! Must be in huge demand, because when I think about it, there's really no other show that features a bunch of old ladies doing what they do.

So, tell me, which one is your favorite? Blanch, right? Haha.

They're all hillarious in thier own ways. You've got a slutty gold digger, a senile 90 year old, a complete moron, and a crabby Jewish lady. You can't go wrong with that.

Speaking of Elvis and where we all live..

This is how close I live to the track.

I'm on the right, Memphis Motorsports is on the left, basically right across the street from my neighborhood.

..and guess who will be here in 2 months for their inaugural event?
