well i got my mx-3 about 2 weeks ago so my main mod was the car ahah
in the process i have ordered

- Integra CAI
- Reverse Guages
- Paint the front gs lip and fix up as much rust as possible and repaint.

hopefully find time to get trans fluid changed to synthetic

hmmm... lets see... oh yeah;
1. fix my passenger side lambo shock
2. finish up my sound system (50% done so far)
3. wide front fenders
4. make and save money

I've got 2 Mx's, so I've got endless things to mod and fix.

RS
-install MTX 5 channel amp with some 6" woofers.
-throw in a portable MP3 player for the stock tape deck.

GS
-Intrax springs(in progress)
-change the CAI(in progress)
-put the GTR wing on.
-swap the honeycomb wheels to 5 star(anytime)
-93-94 dash swap(been putting it off)
-bronze bushings
-get a Combat front bumper
-new headlight project(already did the civic conversion)

Things I would like to happen, but won't.
-new paint job.
-have money to do everything from the lists above.

Does this change the shifting properties? My tranny just seems really stiff, sometimes it's darn hard to get into gear, especially reverse...

from reading lemonaide guide and a car review getting into reverse has always been a problem with this car

wow, this post is still going... well i got my BPT swap done...that's it so far...i still need to get it running right though...it's mainly the starting thing that is causing me problems, stupid BAC valve

Well, my auto tranny started slipping on me while I was going out of town, so my mod will be to switch to a manual......even if just switching out the fluid and filter solves the issue.

Mod check list for the 05 summer

+ finish the back hatch deck (done!! ) came out awesome!
+ Z-3 fenders (done!!) had to cut a little, but worth it.
+ fuel injectors cleaned (done!!) makes all the difference in the world!!
+ Side Skirts, bought just need to get them on now!
+ Strip the paint from the hood and prime it (gotta love the '92 paint)
+ get my baby ready for paint...hopefully by August!!
+ decide what color, Midnight Purple, Black, or Burple.

Nothing serious this summer:

Re-wire the stereo - put in the 1000w, get rid of the 200w, re-attach the remote bass gain, and repair, or get a new box.

PAINT! - not sure about the color yet, but probably super white with a funky pearl in it.

Engine - Looking into getting a GTR engine.. found a couple, waiting for replies from the sellers.

After waiting for almost a year and costing me around £1000 in total I finally got my front and sides. So my plans this summer are mainly going to be based on money from my new job. I started my new job around 2 weeks ago.... and so far so good i should be earning quite alot. However I am also saving for the deposit on my first property so car will get done in bits and bats. But here are the main plans:

>Evo 5 style front> which i still haven't really seen on the mx so i will wait to see how my car turns out to pass judgement,
>I have drift and pak sideskirts so will choose which ones look best all round (i think more than likely drift)
>Evo style rear bumper
>fender flares (to buy)
>inverted cf hood (to buy)
>may change door mirrors
>have doors, arial, boot lock welded and smoothed (poppers)
>a couple more special bits on exterior (to be discussed with my bodyshop guy

then have it painted

>fit new 1.8 engine (bought)
>new clutch (bought)
>repair brake calipers and fit drilled rotors
>short shifter (bought)
>induction kit (bought)
>headers (to buy)
and just mmake the engine bay as shiny as possible

on the interior i've ripped out the 140db sound system and i don't quite know what i'll do>>>> this relies on incoming money's.[/i]

Let's see:

First:
- KL-ZE (bought)
- SSAutochrome Headers (bought)
- Clutchmasters Stage 3 (bought new for only $200)
- Fidanza Flywheel (also bought new for only $200)
- Get my exhaust made (custom Magnaflow)
- Start HEI ignition thingy (got a little more research I need to do on that)
- Install Pheno spacers
- Install intake
- Relocate Battery to the trunk

Then:
- Suspension stuff (still completely undecided on what to get)[/list]
