The ones on your site aren't real dyno sheets & I've yet to see any ProbeTalk guys show dyno sheets with 8hp and 12 torque gains using your product.

I've read negative comments on PT as well, more like mixed reviews overall.

The bolt that broke was one of those brass-colored intake manifold ones. I was not putting a lot of torque on it either, I was trying to remove it and the head snapped off.

And it is common knowledge that lengthening or shortening the manifold runners will shift the powerband curves.

As for the manifold rubbing...the KLZE manifold barely clears the hood to begin with, but with these spacers the problem increases. The stock K8 manifold sits way lower and would clear fine w/these spacers, but not a Eunos 800 manifold

And FYI: on your site you list the curved-neck style as "MS8"....the MS8 is the straight-neck manifold. The curved neck manifold came on the Eunos 800 (aka jdm/edm millenia).

HEre is a pic of an MS8:

straight neck manifold
this is not an ms8 Gro..Ms8 has a curve neck manifold just like a millenia.confirmed by some guys overseas
i concur with baby blue, from the 4 swaps done in my life thats what i know its as as well. Furthermore an engine that runs cooler does run better.

well I agree that the picture is an MS8..jsut not the right engine in it..
anyways..why would the millenia j-spec version would have a different intake manifold..doesn't make sense..

gro on the last link provided under we both thought it was a straight neck..we were corrected...remember ?

The group buy is not done. It goes until the 5th.

It was said that they needed 10 orders to be able to start shipping them.

What I recieved was an e-mail from paypal saying that Outlaw has shipped my spacers.

fraid not. Dunno what guys you talked to but every picture of an Efini MS-8 I've seen looks exactly like that car.

The only car I know of that has the KL68 is the Eunos 800 which looks identical in every way to the Millenia we got here.

Luc St. Pierre discovered this way back in the summer of 1997 when he was looking at my engine accidently put his hand on it. To make a long story short he convinced a lot of Probe guys they worked to keep the intake a lot cooler, including Sean Morgan (ie Outlaw Engineeing) who started making them back in 1999
DavidOS wrote:they make a decent amount of difference, after 30 mins of driving you can still touch the intake manifold without burnign your hand off.

So the tally thus far is what?? 3 or 4 guys
