AHHHHHH Blue, someone to direct me as to which set to order. Exactly, which ones as far as the order form is concerned, and thanks.

Thanks Blue, DavidOS suggested the MS8 set, how do you feel about that? Perhaps the originator scmorgan could monitor his thread for the group-buy and field any queries.

JS-do you have a pic of your motor with the ractive bar in there? I'm thinking about getting one as a temporary brace and if I get the spacers I'm afraid they'll push the manifold into the path of the bar.

Very good question Maz. First, sorry, no pics as of yet. Second, will these thermal insulators actually raise the height of the IM? I never really thought about that part - can't be that much of a rise?? As it stands now, the retaining bolt on the IM plate is a button head type to increase the clearance from the Ractive strut brace. On top of that I had to file a small hollow in the strut brace. Hope I don't have to increase the size of that hollow or I'll have to re-engineer the strut brace positioning.

they make a decent amount of difference, after 30 mins of driving you can still touch the intake manifold without burnign your hand off.

So the tally thus far is what?? 3 or 4 guys

Yes they will rasie the IM by 5-8mm depending on the spacers.
