Congrats on the post mile stone!
My 95 RS hits 116mph. Still about 1k before redline, so I guess it was a govenor, but it didn't "wa wa wa wa" as someone described the fuel cut. It just buzzed right alone at 116.

120 with rev at 6.something i think 6.5 . I dont get the wawawa until i git 7.5 or 7.7 . woah 145 is crazy do you gouys have the stock tranny? i still got the k8 tranny . I must say i got there realy quick...v6 and 4 cyl rocers havent been able to keep up yet. I removed that speed limiter... before it woulodnt go past 110 and would take forever to get there..but after taking that wire out it doesnt stop. I dont have enough road to see the full top speed.

Hi there, i dont know if the UK gearbox is different? But my lil 1.8 seems to top out faster than a few mentioned here. Im putting in a KLZE engine soon, but keeping my K8 gearbox. When i first got my MX3 my friend and i had a little spin, he as a MGF & we were trying to establish whos is faster, we were both definatley just below 150 MPH, 145+. If anyone doubts this i will get speedo photos etc. This was on the limiter 7.5k Does the KL31 ECU limit earlier. Now i will admit that my MX runs out of puff at around 120mph on the flat but with help from a rather large hill 150 ish was seen! Standard wheels mind! Now im on 17"s

I hit 140 on my 92 white BP could have gone more still had more power to go but u never know whats over the hill u know cops fastest ive gotten it.

200kmh on mine when i got new plugs,disty,fuel pump did that once neva did again

i got mine too 102mp/h with a bad clutch and a used up tranny and everything else stock. cant wait to see with performance parts on it.

i wrapped my speedo completeely around.
My engine sounded like it was going to explode. However it was
fine, my engine runs stronger then ever.

this bites i can do 110 but the wheel hops all scary
had it checlked all over and nothing came up.. bohoo i think its a bad bearing job..

most tire shops only balance tires up to 65mph. your tire could be out of balance

ive reached mine to 181kms/hour
if it goes max at 150, theres a problem

anybody know the top speed of a 92 rs... i think its gonna be around 90-100 pretty sad if u ask me... didnt try it out yet but i hope to soon... all stock except for intake and exhaust
my 02 tacoma supercharged maxed out the speedo at 110 and still accelerating
