my word that looks amazing... the only way i can do this though is if somehow in feb/april you have them available again. right now just getting my car running is first priority then everything else... and i'd do a lexan window with if for sure

will the new CF hatch have the attatching points for the OE garnish?

I think the attachments are part of the garnish. The hatch itself i believe only has the holes.

Aside from the little window cutout and drilled/tapped steel plates for the hinges, hatch stuts, 3rd brake light and wiper, everything else will be left to you to cut with a dremel.

That would include locations for which the wiring harnes fastens to any rubber gromet, interior panelling, etc... The main stuff we take care of.

so I was just thinking about this... how will the hinges attach? and will there be additional support right there? I guess I'm just worried about that area not being able to support the rest of the hatch.... (if that makes sense)

Are hatches are hinged and supported by 2 struts. the mounting points are reinforced with a metal plate that is drilled and tapped (threaded).

Additionally, the shape of our hatch makes for a more rigid piece. I don't expect to have any issues with this approach.

Quick question; You do not think there should be any problem with installing a factory glass piece into the CF hatch? Or maybe I will have to wait to see what fowljesse can come up with
