have you been able to get the size yet?

Why is this so hard to get this information? If after all this time, I come home for Christmas, have time to go to the wreckers and get this information....

i guess worse comes to worse, i can go to one too. but i figured with so many people wanting the handle. SOMEONE could tell me the simplest piece of information

no auto wreckers around here have a mx3,mx6, protege or 626

i would of gotten this for you a long time ago but i can't get the button off because it's square shaped so without cutting off the handle (won't slide off, at least not with my strength) i can't twist off the button

It does slip off with enough strength, I replaced my button with a chromey one from a protege.

getting it back on is way harder, you need to sit the cover in hot water to get it pliable enough. Its super cold out, thats the only reason I'm not doing this

yeah no dice, i realize that even if i got it off i'd have no way to measure the treads...unless i went to home depot and used they're measure board thing or something

if there was a car at the scrap yard. i grabbed a nut that is 5mm, 10-32 and 10-24

They need to be engraved ANNNNNNNND i still dont know the threaded hole in the button
