Here are a couple pics of my brothers new KLZE probe sitting in my garage. I can't wait to see what my DE (with cams and reduced rotating mass) can do against the ZE.

.......Or put the KLZE is a 323 (2,238lbs) for the ultimate weight reduction....nah that would be crazy
Dominic Toretto's whip is a MaZda and his cell phone number starts in "(323)"

Does your work filter all the pics on mx-3 or just my thread? :confused2:

LMAO! I am guessing that it is either how the images are inserted, or if our filter registers the link as a "Personal Network Storage and Backup" URL. What's wierd is that I upload my images through photo bucket and can see them at work, but I cannot get PB at work. Some worklogs show up and some don't. It's the same way with Moto IQ. Some articles have the pictures blocked. It really sucks when It's slow at work and I need my MX-3 fix and can't see them.

EDIT: Just finished all 13 pages. Nice and now I know why Sleeper6 keeps saying "If Aaron would just get his running" Let me know if you need help with anything Bro. I have TIG, Lathe and Milling Machine. Also, I would love to see if my Rota Sub Zeros fit behind your new brakes when the calipers are mounted as I want to do something similar with the WilWood hats. Great project and I'm looking forward to meeting you soon!

Re: Yet Another Parts Car. AaronTietje - 1993 MX-3 GS

Post by AaronTietje »

Well, I snagged another parts car; however, there's not much that I will be using off this girl. The passanger side door looks to be completely rust free, so that's a keeper as well as a good front bumper. Other than a few items, this one will be going to the scrap yard quickly. I was thinking about fixing the trans but the underside is too far gone for it to be worth messing with.

Manual steering, I'm jealous... :D

Any chance you have driven a manual steering Toyota Tercel, Honda Civic, or similar to compare?
I've been debating the manual swap, but I have mixed feelings on it so far...

The manual steering on a Tercel is a complete dream, 3 fingers on one hand and I can control it in a lot no problem. However, my experience with a Civic Hatch has been unpleasant. I can twist it around alright with 1 hand, but it's definitely more work than in the Tercel.

"Free" power is free power though... 250 BHP doesn't come easy!

Small update: I made some progress with the brake setup and ordered some stainless lines.

Also, have some new tires Falken.
