Ethan, your idea is badass, and that placement is mint! One problem... My car is LHD. Still, you've got me thinking now... that's dangerous, to my wallet... :welder:

I think I will hardwire A/F in where Nd4Spd has his in the Xterra, or similar at least, and then keep a netbook close at hand for race occasions. I can't wait until they finish the iPhone/Android apps for Megatune.

They can randomly search your car like that?! Wow, I forget how blessed we are here... That's crazy to me...

I've been ticketed 4 times in 7 years of driving, out of about 15 traffic stops.

My worst ticket was a Reckless driving, in my girlfriend's car... She totaled it, had it reconstructed and declared road-worthy, and then the brake master failed during rush hour and I rear ended a car at ~25 MPH.

I sprained my ankle locking up the manual bypass on the brakes. The officers interviewed me at the scene and left 100% of it out of the police report, instead recording what was said at the hospital later. No Miranda Rights or anything, classy stuff. I should upload pictures of the police report... the part where they said "estimated speed 25-30 mph, 35 mph zone", and then 2 lines later "cause of accident: Driving too fast for conditions". This was in the middle of July, about 85 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

I plead out of the garbage ticket after they disallowed 5 of my 7 witnesses, so I could avoid the otherwise impossible to dodge criminal charges. Instead I take a careless driving, and the fat POS who "Reported me as a drunk driver" without ever dialing 911, lambasted me in a courtroom about how I need to learn to drive safely. Cute, huh? I'll never respect a police officer just for holding their station. If they want respect, they can earn it like anybody else.

Arghhhhhh thats SO gay... ummm so there were no LHD ones with the speaker? Man the whole LHD/RHD thing is a pain in the bum! Why can't we all just drive on the same side of the road?!?
Still, you might be able to get it to work - if you have the 92-94 dash in, there should still be enough room underneath to add in a little "vent" like the JDM one, and hide it there? I think the USDM dash looks kinda similar-ish to our other than the speaker grill...? hrmmm :confused2:  gotta make this work!!! Haha

It's similar, but it's 92-93  94+ had a weird dash... Honestly my least favorite part about the 94+ cars. Manual belts, airbags, I believe a deeper center console? Not bad ideas...

I never get tickets, I keep a 6 pack of donuts in my car at all times. Cop stops me I open the box of donuts and when he peers in I say, excuse me officer I'm fasting for blood work can you take this box of donuts off my hands. 8)

Haha most of them here don't end up staying in - heaps of people tend to put in gauge pods, which I think are too ricey... Mine doesn't actually have the speaker in it, but it does look good haha :)
