Wow. I'm glad you're both in one piece.

Hope you get well, soon. The car...I agree with Savin. As much as we love them (and especially considering the time and effort you had put into yours), they're still just machines. Who knows? Maybe Santa can get you another one?

Holy crap... so glad you're still ok... Hope the recovery for both you and your gf is quick and as painless as it possibly can be...
Hope to hear your insurance/something can sort something out, and that you're back mixing with mx's soon...

Thanks everyone! I don't know what I'll do about an MX-3. I have been trying to look but I don't really see them being sold. Maybe I'll look on eBay. I posted about one in Oregon that I saw that looked sexy, check the post about it please!!! It's right below this thread (or was)

edit:

non sold on eBay.. ugh these cars are getting rarer!!!!!

Thanks everyone!

As for now, I'm following a few leads. An MX-3 near the Oregon crew (5 speed ZE), one in Michigan that is an SE (but auto), and finally a '92 GS (5 speed) that is near me, but I havent seen yet.. they say it has rust issues so I'll see how bad it is..

Thanks to everyone, btw, helping me with getting a new car!

wow, man-- I'm not on here alot so I didn't see your car before the accident, but that must've been a serious wreck. Glad you're still around to talk about it...

Whenever I see an MX-3 that's all wrecked and destroyed, I have to admit, it makes me sad. There aren't that many at junk yards around my area, but each one of them has a story and now that story is over. It's one of the main reasons that I will never sell my car, no matter how many other cars I buy in the future. If I did sell it, with 240k miles, sooner or later it would end up in the scrapheap.

I've seen several for sale on craigslist in my area. I'd say keep your eyes there.

Good luck-

Thanks!

It is sad to see them in the junkyard. Never thought mine would get there :(. Best thing to come into my life back in '06.

Looks like excessive speed on the other driver to me. What's the posted limit? I'd say he was above 45 mph easily.
