Radar?

i have a valentine 1, bel sti and bel rx65 in my cars. all of em do a good job. the arrows are really nice, but everything else about the V1 pretty much drives me insane. i've had tons of saves, haven't had a speeding ticket in at least 7-8 years ie never got burned once since investing in a GOOD detector. i suppose i agree with solo in part, in that no radar detector is better than a POS one.

when LIDAR becomes more prevalent i'll likely invest in laser interceptor, but at the high cost i would need a lot of saves before it would pay for itself, unlike a decent RD. it's not likely to happen at all since the officer needs to aim and shoot each car, the weather isn't suited for it half the year here, and Chicago cops are lazy bums. i'm not overly concerned with laser, obviously

Yea I had a POS radar and it saved me once or twice, but the range sucked.

Alot of cops dont use laser, even if they did you'd be screwed by the time the detector went off.

Cops are all about KA here which is nice, because usually downtown falses are X or K (I have X turned off anyways)

I use a Passport 8500 x50, saved me a few ticks already. Most all highway though, I drive 100km a day highway so it helps
