Nope, it's factory paint. The lip is pretty chipped up and one mudguard has a few scratches, but the rest is in really good shape.

Finally got the cruise control working and moved to the steering wheel. Don't ask how long that took...

Nope.... I'm East end (Beaches) and travel up to Markham to use a friend of mines garage to work on the car. I haven't been West of Warden in over a month. :P

I might start showing up at Kennedy Commons on Wednesdays for the next little while just to see whats going on. I'm an ex Muscle car guy, so the rice thing is new to me.

LOL, yeah. The bottom pic was taken before all the recent work. I actually have legit Brembo's in a box, just waiting on 17" rims & tires.
I have 17" rims for sale. I'm too lazy to kijijijjijij them. lol

Yeah.. the caliper covers are poser... but they are a hella lot better looking then painted ones IMO. So, yeah, it's false advertising.... but it's not ghetto.

Really got a hate-on for people ATM.

I spent a sunny afternoon on Friday polishing the whole car, took about 6hrs (I'm the clean car OCD poster child). So, I woke up this morning all giddy to go get my Son and hit the beach in my shiney car.... only to find some inbreed keyed it right across the passenger door and quarter pannel. THANKS!

Now, if that didn't ruin my day... (yes it gets better) I hit Canadian tire to get a replacement bulb for a burned out brake light. Now, I'm one of those retards that park waaaaay at the end of the parkinglot with 10 free spaces around my car... because I want to avoid this: Some a$$hat with a U-Haul and trailer pulls into the parkinglot and backs... right into the nose of my car. Like... REALLY??????? I just stood with my jaw on the floor watching it in slowmotion from across the parking lot. So... now my plate holder is on the pavement and my front lip is split... THAAANKS! Needless to say, the U-Haul guy got the rage of both incidents on his head, and I don't care. F&CK him,.

15 years of babying this paint so in less then 10hrs two people can wreck it. Don't have the heart to take or post pictures of it right now. Right before MOM too.

F*ck man that's a nightmare come true. I'm always so paranoid about sh*t like that, it really amazes me sometimes how much people are willing to go out of their way to do other people harm. And it's even harder to avoid when you have a flashy car - everyone notices it. It's like you gotta drive in a sh*tbox in order for people to leave it alone. My plan starting this year was to always keep my car cover in the car and just throw it on if I ever need to park it for more than a short period of time.

Sorry to hear about those two crappy incidences. When it comes to parking I try to pick a spot between two nice new cars, no parking in the booney's for me and so far (touch wood) no dings or dents. Maybe the paint shop will fix that scratch along with the front end damage.

That pisses me off! Good! I'm glad you let him have it. What did he say whe you confronted him with his stupidness?

The dicktugg tried to take off. He got out... looked, then got that 'damn, I better get outta here' look on his face, then started to get back in. I ran over and stood infront of the truck and asked him if he was going to find some kids to run over next. :confused2: The rest is pointless to post, I'd get banned from the forum.

So... this is the result at masking some of the damage:

The Keying job isn't too apparent in this pic, but it runs across the door and quarter panel for a few feet. I should be able to blend it out with a rattle can and some sanding.

The GOOD news is I grabbed these off Kijji for $300.

Did some more work... minor crap. Got my Ipod hooked up to the stereo, custom short shifter is in plus the boot modded (so-so I'll probably sew a new one) and I've made a bracket template for one of the new seats.

Nice seats, I had a set of Yonoka seats in my old probe. They were nice and tight......just not very light.

Yeah, I agree, they are heavy and weight is always something I take into account. I simply got them as a $300 'place holder' to sort out brackets and rollcage/harness hookups. I had Sparco Evo's in my Mustang and I'll probably go back to them. But for now these will suffice as a street/track seat until my busy season picks up and I can piss money all over town on the car.
