The only thing I will say is that there are alot of companies that source labor overseas... the difference with Nike is the extremely high standards we have regarding how the workers are treated as well as the average pay of the workers is higher than most

I'm a Business Analyst in Customer Service... basically I ensure the ordering system we use stays running and troubleshoot problems and work on special projects. I work for this small company called Nike and no, I cannot get you a deal on shoes.

I currently work at mapco gas station. With crazy hours 2nd half the wk and 3rd the rest, wad a manager at pizza. hut but I actually make more as an a--. Manager here

I've never had a job for more than a year, my resume includes:

Dairy farm labour hand
Apiary worker (3 businesses)
Concrete worker (1.5x)
Hog barn washer (6 years)
Masonry labourer

This summer I'm going back to masonry, only for the pay. The job is killer. I once calculated that I moved 6000 lbs of stone in a day. Often to 8' over my head. Thats just the stone, nevermind the mortar...

I also just finished my first year of Engineering with intent on a Mechanical degree. Nowadays, I'm not sure if it will suit me though...

heavy equipment tech specialized in hydraulics and electronics, journeyman certifed. its a decent job good paychaque, but I have more ambitous goals in mind started a small home based business doing car audio/wiring in the side recently.

Right now I"m working with a family friend at his auto shop working on the mechanical end of cars.

I'm trying to get a job with my degree I got last June (Information Technology- Software Applications and Programming). Got an Associate's but I'm trying to go further with it.. but yeah.. not fun trying to get a job >_>

With a degree in Mech. Eng. you can do anything. The applications of the knowledge you will gain are literally endless. Any company in the world will hire a MechEng grad with good marks and a good attitude simply because you have proven that you can learn basically the hardest thing there is to learn. Maybe 10% of the population is even capable of earning that degree. You will be glad you did. Don't give up.

Currently a Paramedic. Firefighter certified. However Ive worked for nascar changing tires, drove dumptrucks, and all other heavy equipment (that was a lot of fun). But I decided I needed to do something that I can do when I get old...... . Only paid $400 for my car and maybe have 2 more into it...and I do all the work myself because like I said its just my hobby lol im a big fan of jet ski's too

I worked on a flight line managing aircraft servicing and repair. Just got transfered to set up a safety program for our new J model Hercs arriving next month.
I've working in a Body Shop/Gas Station, KFC, Glass Factory, Steel Mill and in the service I'm an aircraft technician. I've been a lab guy analyising oil samples, doing NDT using liquid penatrant, MPI, ultrasonics and eddy current to check for defects in materials, course instructor, ground safety officer, been on a ship with helicopters and now retiring in Nov. I've also done some home reno stuff, furniture building for friends and I'm tech support for anyone who knows me and wants their computer fixed for free .

I worked for DND (Department of National Defence). I worked at the Royal Military College of Canada (similar to West Point in US) at the Massey Library cataloguing books..getting them prepared to be put on the shelves for people to take out...

I retired on April 24th, 2009 after a little more than 35 years...just recently I have been retired for a year..woo hoo! It has gone fast and I love it!

On June 20th I am heading out to Canmore, Alberta and hoping to move there. I have rented a duplex for about 34 days to give me time to see if this is the place....so exciting!
