You may have hit it right on the head. I know when I came to this forum, even when I had been lurking for some time, I was used to how members and moderators conducted themselves on the other forums I'm a member of (like you, I'm a member of several different forums, but, as of today, this is the only one I post on), and it took me some time to realize the differences between this forum and what I was used to. I guess it's only fair that we take that into consideration when dealing with a noob...Savin wrote: I guess new members just need to learn that this forum is run different than most? I agree, but this is an "I do-they do" kind of problem. It's like your first times at a gym: all the more experienced people keep telling you that the weight you lift is not important, that you need to do the exercise properly, but you still dream with pulling a 300 lb squat.Mnemonic wrote:In all Honesty I don't really consider noobism by post count. Its really about age (sitewise) and how you conduct yourself. We've got some guys that are still newish but I wouldn't call them noobsHeck I'm a noob on my is300 forums lol...
Here it's the same. You don't care about it, but the guy with a "1" post count does.
