he's not on here much... basically they were over the rad support in the middle... but they were backwards... so instead of the pin sliding out towards the windshield they slide out towards the headlights if that makes sense...

Ya, I had the standard sliding pins too, and they were in there tight. Maybe you need to lower the bolt down to put some pressure against the hood? Mine are by no means easy to slide out.

Mine's are the outmost part of the hood.

Its important to install them correctly. I have mine towards the sides of the hood on the radiator support. Mine are also riveted onto the hood (latches) and pins themselves are secured with wide washer/nut from both sides.

And those CF hoods do look nice. I was never a big fan of CF, but you guys make it look good.

Thanks for the compliments. But on that note, I'm actually been leaning toward an Rx-8 and continuing with that color combo and do more that I couldn't do with the Mx-3

I must also compliment your car. When I first came here and was looking at everyone's cars.. yours to me was by far the best looking. It's the reason I want the MS front bumper

I never got to see it in person

She's still here, just not very recognizable. I really do miss her , but her spirit and inspiration lives on. I am glad she did end on a high note.
