It was probably karma, the car was getting you back for putting those awful lights on it. Why are those getting popular?? I'm genuinely curious, I think they're hideous and completely ruin the car but I keep seeing them for some reason. Just like I keep seeing the stock shaped carbon looking projector headlights on eBay, also disgusting.

Anyways, sorry for your loss, the car was really clean except for those lights. I love the color BTW.

haha, I was waiting for someone to say it. Those lights made the car look like it had down syndrome.

However, the rest of the car was minty. If you fix it up, put the stockers back in or get the new projectors.

Well you know if I'm trolling these forums and come across it I'm gonna say something. I'm not trying to be a d--- but I'm just seriously wondering what the appeal is. They make the car look like this smiley :freak:

You know, I was thinking about your comment, my neighbor wrecked his motorbike and he said the same thing: it's never the same after it has to be rebuilt.

Maybe it's easier and cheaper to make that one a parts car and get another with a good body? then you can bring another MX-3 into the community....

wow, its been a really long time..but for anyone who cares, i ended up taking it to the scrap yard. i was tearing up drive axles like no tomorrow, and it was just never the same. I put the motor into a new one, that blew about 2 months later doing 120 down the highway..that was fun. got a JDM BP from TJDM, and threw it into another 300$ mx-3 that was auto and had issues with the tranny. made it 5speed BP, and she goes pretty good. However, body is rotton and i dont know if i can endure another bp swap, looking at a1.6, bit ugly underneath, some metal work and were good. ill post pics of the rebuilt car and it on the forks of a big a-- forklift, taking its last voyage to pancakeville. oh..and may be a JDM BP, with header forsale in the london area soon ;), unless anyone can find me a..dare i say it..ESCORT GT!!
