The other coilovers (ground controls), are too expensive... for me atleast.

Start hacking away at your stock springs till you get your desired ride height? I must warn you, its not a safe thing to do.

I'm desperate, but not that desperate. haha

You don't have to keep telling me bro. This isn't my first time around.
Thanks for the input though. I appreciate it. :)

I have a feeling that if you got the lowest springs you can find, you'd be happy with them. Unless you plan to not drive the car, you'd be annoyed every time you drove, if you could find some low enough to tuck them. Mine are almost tucked in the front with H&R springs, but the rear are about .5" higher because the back of the car is lightened.
Maybe you could have a body shop extend the fenders down .5" after putting in lowering springs.

I bought a set of Evotion springs and paired them with zx2 struts... It was suppose to be a 1.8" drop

Ride quality is good enough for a daily driver... and they only cost $30!

What should you do? Well for starters...

-Don't waste your money on sh.tty garbage springs or coilovers such as DZ or ebay CRAP.
-Take that money, save up a little more and GET the ground controls + some good struts.
-Never look back with regret.

Waiting a little longer for something that's MUCH better quality, not to mention ride is the right way to do it, and you won't be kicking your own a$$ in the future about it.

WOW! ... Someone is blunt. Thanks for the straight up.

I'm just gonna pass on getting the coilovers (listening to some on you guys advice). I'll get the DZ Springs though. Maybe get the KYB struts. My Bro inlaw has the KYB's on DZ coilovers and it feels alright, so I'm thinking if I get the springs, it might be a better ride. Thanks for all the input guys. Much appreciated!

Oh yeah, I said I'd post a pic, but I forgot.

Well, now I remembered.

This is the old setup I had until a year ago. H&Rs and Tokico HPs. It was pretty low. Less than a finger between fender and tire in the front. Looked cool, but was a-- to drive. Would scrape everywhere too.
