I just arrived from Estoril, i went there to sign up for the dragracingshow later today

I am signed up for the number 10 class ( over 1800cc) and the prototype class ( the nitro and slicks gang )
this way ill make 4 runs , so my GF can catch my time for sure with the videocam

I expect a ....................... : 16.5 @ 1/4mile

They informed me that there were no paper's of the run, because it's all done on a laptop
But they have the records and they will soon open up a topic in the 2 most popular portuguese tuning foruns( tuning.online and muahah) with the times of each car

This year the drag championship has some new features, since now each person that signs up get's a number, and that number remains the same through the year.
Mine is the number 002 so i will be waiting for my times very soon.

But before the real championship, there were warm up drag races, and i made 16.05 on the first run

way to go outlaw! low 16's is pretty good for the k8!!!

the real times are : 16,05 for my first run ... and the rest the DragRacingShow management will show us soon ( or so they say )
I videotaped 3 of my runs, and i am making the movie ... i guess i must be clocking it wrong, because im gettin 16,0 ; 15,5 and 15,4 another

just a quick note on the movie:
1st pull (free pull) - I pulled with a very good Civic b16
2nd pull ( over 1800cc class ) - i pulled against a VW golf GTi ( 2000cc )
3rd pull ( over 1800cc class ) - i pulled against the same VW golf GTi ( 2000cc )
4th pull ( prototype class ) - i pulled against an awesome Civic b18 ( with among other stuff, CF boot, hood and front sides )

at least it was fun, and i did showed that german peoples car ( VW ) a thing or two about speed from a smaller engine

The DragRacingShow finally gave us the times from the past drag race
so ...

I am the nr 02 driver ...

I made 15.567 ET ... and 136.12 kmh ( 84.581047 mph ) ... sorry i dont have reaction times

I also made 15.652 ET ... and 134.83 kmh ( 83.779478 mph ) on the other class, again nr 02 driver as you can see here
