The KYB web site catalogue says that the GR-2 struts listed are not for ABS cars. Is there any practical difference between non-ABS and ABS struts? My question only relates to rear struts. What other OEM replacement struts are you using?

I don't have an ABS car, so I'm not sure. My ZX2 struts do not. Contact someone who distributes the product you like and ask them if they have it or are available with it. Because ABS is an option on many cars from this time period, there are probably some strut manufacturers which have that option on their struts.

If I'm not mistaken, it's just a clip for the wire. You could probably get by with a ziptie...but don't quote me on that. Look at your struts and decide how important that bracket is.

i know over here its a fail on the MOT to leave the wires hanging. maybe a jubilee clip could work, would a ziptie perish??
