Yea there is a small kick, you can hear it to. Its more noticiable at full throttle.

I'd like to add that I try to shift at roughly 2500-3000 rpms, casually driving. And I don't race. But there's more variables to the equation than what rpm's you shift at. Equally as important is how far you open the throttle.

I've been struggling trying to figure this out. Do you go light on the throttle and shift higher, or heavy on the throttle and shift lower. There's gotta be an optimum balancing point. What it is, I don't know.

im light on the throttle casually driving, but when im racin id say im pretty heavy on the gas. If i was heavy on the gas just daily driving id think id would be hard to shift at lower rpms cuz you would be racing through the first 3 gears.

i shift at 2-3k, and 5k if im "racing" my engine starts to lose power above 5000rpm, but the manual says the maximum power is at 6200rpm, but the engine has done 208.000Km, so it's not new :)

2800-3500 for everyday commutes,4000-5000 for adrenaline rush, and very rarely at redline!
