I would not put the 16G on the 2.5... It will spool up very fast and loose a bit at top end. The bolt patterns are the same as 'some' T25's. You can get an adapter plate to go from a 16G to t3/t4.. This may be a good temp solution until you get the ideal turbo for you goals. I would go this route b4 buying a cheap ebay turbo.
