Same thing here too on the KLZE car - almost - just a creak not a clunk....and I think I diagnosed it even though I don't like it.

Here's the facts:
1) Slight creak under braking
2) Diagnosed slight run out on brakes
3) Run out is transmitted to knuckle even though it appears that the caliper is ok
4) Knuckle is transmitting runout through strut
OK - here's the possible NON fact:
The strut seems to be taking the motion and the strut internals are moving ever so slightly relative to the externals causing the creaking sound...

Solution - get rid of the run out!! OK and check my struts too....

My problem started off going over speed bumps I would here a creaking noise. Then as time went by when I went around corners, it started creaking. It got to the point that anytime the suspension moved, it sounded like my wheel was going to fall off and people were getting scared on the side walks when I would drive by them. It ended up being the bushing on my control arms. I unbloted the one bolt. Lithiumed the hell out of the bolt and all contacting metal points on the contol arm. After that it was so quiet I could here that my rear calipar is sized and has chewed away at my rotor :P

I am constantly replacing CV joint boots, is the MX3 prone to rip those ?
Well, for now replacing it will not do the trick, i must have a CV joint dead ... what do i need to look, to get it fixed ? i guess both front one's are dead or diying ...
about this problem, today im going to ask my mechanic if this will work the trouble :
