I hope you take this kindly when i say waste of time. You'll never push enough power to make that flywheel and clutch that you talked about necessary.

nice progress so far congrats, i want to put a BP in my GS, i have a spare one laying around, iv had a protege lx, a 323 that i did a bp swap in why not do a mx3 bp haha good luck man

Did you get the BP harness or are you splicing.

Ya thats true, I started out splicing but it started to be a pain in the ahha. Thats because of the BP26 ECU. It will be easier for you if you get BP harness, if you are using the BP05 ECU(that will make it all plug and play with no splicing).

yea i got the bp ecu

but were just gonna add the extra wires for the vics

Did you get the BP MAF with the engine. I know my Mx3 Maf didnt work right with my ECU.

You will have to splic in the MAF and the O2 sensor too with out BP harness.

awesome job so far. you doing all the work yourself? how many miles on the new engine?

holy chicken mc crap....

in that case...

i think imma go back to the junk yard and cut the front clip for that protege

and it has everything

but it was BADLY damaged....

but the SACF is gonna be done by idaho speed center

and any bumps my step uncle helps me out

air tools FTW

makes it that much easier for a retard :D

and about 50 ish on the engine

Removing that harness isnt that hard. Plus in the long run you will be happy you did. I could remove one in 15 minutes.

ok

when we talk the wiring harness

its that big black wire that runs for the fuel rails along the firewall and into the ecu right....

Yep plus the one that runs from fuse box to the Alt, and starter.

your willing to explain how to get the thing out

theres no way on the 1 im working is is there to remove the engine lol
