I think a whp list would be a cool feature so long as people actually have dyno's posted to back there numbers. There are some people on here that might overly boast about there numbers being alot higher than they are.

Exactly. I think ALOT of the numbers I've been seeing in the Probetalk Dyno database lately are CORRECTED numbers and the people don't know what they're talking about. If we can see each other's dyno sheets, it would usually have info if it's wheel horsepower or corrected crank horsepower, etc.

In a month or two I will have Dyno numbers for my K8. Though it will have a CAI and Headers, it should be close to stock numbers. In the mean time I choose to believe its putting out 600Whp. Eat your hearts out ;) LOL

granted i understand the "Rounding method" if you have 173whp you way 175 if you have 168whp you say 170 sure i understand that everyone likes nice even numbers. And then you have the people who will claim the maximum they ever made. for example my roomate has a ion redline, and he got 229whp at his best. Now his average was about 220 for the other 2 runs but on his 3rd run he had a slight boost spike when he hit his rev limiter and made an extra 9 ponies, so now he says he has 230

calm down guys...
i did not make this topic to show off something, so if someone "show´s" off... they are a bit ricer on the pride side.

It would be nice to give number's and a picture of a dynosheet, i didn´t ask that from the begging because i have no dyno sheet yet :(

Nice work on some off the gang

the 149whp I originally posted was a a DynoJet btw.
hp
i did 144whp and 146 foot lbs of torque (other run was 144/150tq) but this time it was a Mustang dyno, which i'm told shows about 15% less than DynoJet since it adds a load to simulate actually driving on the road

(tho technically...the dyno messed up for one run and it showed 1100whp....so since that's my highest, can i take that as my top whp?)

some pics from the original dynojet run:

oscar is running a junkyard setup turbo (his words, not mine) which is why his numbers are so much higher than anyone

Just went to the dyno, a little bit short on numbers, but my car was stopped at the carshop for months before me and i drive really slow.
And there were 28 degrees Celsius. A bit hot even for Portugal.

on your dyno pics, i can allways see the top bhp numbers , but they are not specified like European dyno charts ...
i mean, see my picture:

let me translate:

I can see in my test the engine HP, the Wheel HP , the wasted power from transmission+alloys+tyres+air pressure+air temperature , and the top torque ... your dyno pics ony show the top hp, but from what ? whp ? engine hp ? can you guys teach me ?

WHP. a klze will not have 165 HP at the fly.

While we are on the subject of padding numbers there are dynojets and dynopaks. The ones that bolt directly up to the hubs will skew your numbers and show that you have more whp than you really do.

ccreech (Green Turd)-----KLZE----160.4 whp----195 bhp estimated at 17% powertrain reduction.

I have 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust and Hot Shot Headers with KL36 ECU
