hmmm, I don;t know why you say that. the majority of the 4cyl piping could be used on a v6 because it is all ran just about the same way. You V6 owners just make it sound harder

And I have said this before, go make friends with a local exhuast place and have them work with you. Got my whole exhaust and IC piping for $450, and that was with custom DP.

I'm just curious as to what babyblue had to do as far as the downpipe is concerned. I can have someone fab me it if its not too much trouble but i'm juts curious as to what cuts & welds & extensions are involved.
BTW:
If you guys think 775 for a custom T3 turbo manifold for the V6 is a high price, check your head! The manifold is SS and is custom-fit for godsakes! And it includes a downpipe, but if it is VERY difficult to fit to an MX3, sure, it might not be as great a value, but IMO is still worth it.
I'd like to see anyone here go to a shop and have them fabricate them the same manifold & downpipe for less than 775, or 2000 for that matter, it won't happen unless you know the shop owner & get it at cost or something. The metal involved alone is worth at least 200 dollars, add to that the T3 flanges which are at least another 40-50 + labor & R&D, its not a bad price.

you guys only have to built a reallly short exhaust manifold ( just one) and a downpipe wich is almost the same as stock.
We on the opposite have to built 2 primaries, ahve them collect somwhere in the engine bay then go back up again to the turbo. down pipe as a zillion turns and twist to go back down there and that freakin cross member has to be modfied like hell (at least mine was).
Obviously you never saw what involves building a v6 turbo manifold.

My bad. I thought you guys where just talking Exhaust (from dp back) and IC piping. Not manifolds too.
If I had a V6 I would have a rear-mount turbo setup on a 2.5L KL-DE

Local guy just did a RM on a merker. He has a custom tuned header to a collector then 2 1/4 back to a t3/T4 and is boosting around 12 psi. He swears it spools at 3400.

i guess its just me but i dont see any complications there....of course i do make dynomax exhaust systems.....
