I hate to say it as I am a big fan of carbon fiber, but I like the look of the car with the stock hood on it. It just flowed together so nicely :D

Other than that the car looks SWEET!!!!

I got the stock hood painted, and I'll be keeping it as well, just-in-case, but ya, the hood really changes the front of the car, but it's nice either way.

Those would be it, but they mounted them about 3" higher than I wanted them, it was suppose to partially wrap around the underside or the bumper.

Well I guess you see what I see...I think now even more that some black glss rims with a silver lip would work great, and they will help the hood blend in more.

The reason the hood looks out of place is becuase of the rims, they are kinda flat in shine and so it's like you have 3 color combinations that are working against each other. It is easy to see in that pic.

Maybe if those mud guards were molded?

Keep up the good work...I wish I lived near all these kick a-- MX-3's, a group shot would be priceless.

Hmm, that would probably be it. It makes sence. I've been wondering why they didn't look in place with the car with the hood on, I think you hit in on the nail with that one.

Do you have a larger pic of your car? No wonder you like those rims, you have them. :D

LOL, those are my show rims, 18" Rays G-Games 77W's, but they are gunmetal, not black.

I do have a set of 17" flat black Nippon Racing rims, those are to be my everyday rims, but it's been a busy season. Going to head to Mazda Extreme Street this Sunday.

The flat black rims dont look that off on my car as it does on yours because part of my CF hood is painted...I really have to get some pics with those rims on.

Anyways, really, if those rims where changed, your car would really be sick, dude. Everything just needs to flow.

Very nice! I like the side skirts and the wing. Rear mud guards, nahhh... :P
Where can I buy the side skirts? Front, I know is Mazdaspeed or Corksport.

Good luck. A guy in Buffalo was selling them, one side was partially damaged from his car getting in an accident and needed slight repair, they're like plastic, not fiberglass, and have metal brackets....I've never seen another set since.

My instructions says part number: E040 V4 910

What brand are they? Mazda original side skirts, or?

I like the side skirts Mdavis also has, but those are the Mazdaspeed ones, right?

I was told they are OEM side skirts, but that they are JDM style. That's all i know and I have not been able to confirm anything about their origins, except the instructions are Mazda-ish. Very clear and detailed instructions, and the fact they aren't fibreglass would explain that they aren't aftermarket.

MazdaSpeed side skirts are those small ones that you see on CorkSport, the short ones that sit right at the back.
Mdavis has the original OEM side skirts, the one that everyone wants :D
