*Important* Summer Beach Meet (READ)

Ok, well I came down to 2 dates.... I just would like a vote to which would be better, I have no idea when the annual mx-3 bash will be as there is no date set.. so I'm trying to avoid that date

but so far I came up with either JUNE 11th, or JUNE 18th both weekends...
both saterdays..

post yey or nay to this date.. and I will further more on the decision

I'd be for the 18th more then the 11th, but if the mojority is for the 11th....ill try and re-arrange

but judging by the weather were having now....there will probably be snow..

..lol...but i think sometime in july would be best IMO

Who the heck wants to go to the beach in June. There'll be no one at the beach cause it's not warm enough yet - or at least the water won't be. Gotta go for somewhere between middle of July to the middle of September. Not much of a "Beach Meet" if you can't take in all of the nuances of the beach, IMO

I definetely wont be in for the 18th. Thats the first SOLO event at Mosport.

ok scratch that, I do not want to have it to LATE as other clubs are complaining... mid july perhaps would be decent?

but sept? no way.

Don't know Deb, never been to one. Who cares, great excuse to go to the beach, meet some new people, look at some neat rides, do a little bench racing, tell a few lies, go to the beach (oops, already said that), can't think off the top of my head what else would be better to do on a hot summer weekend.

ok July 23rd it is, I`m also going to be setting up a rain date, oviously.. incase it rains.

as for whats going on...

I`m trying to find a large parking lot/field... whichever, we meet up (including the other clubs) talk, hang out, grab a bite.... whatever..

When that is done, we will be cruising down to turkey point, another local beach not far off... point of that is the drive itself, the roads are windy and fun to drive on, we then setup at another BEACH with a beach parking lot, and show off our rides.. there is a bar across from the beach (very nice bar I might add) and a beautiful beach of course...

and from there people can chose when they want to go home

once again, I have done this before and it turned out great... but I only worked with 1 club, this time I would like to make this big and possibly turn it into an annual event

Bah...the 23rd is the event at Toronto Motorsports Park. Doesn't look like I'll be down.
