TOKICO Premium performance Struts (C$ 188.00ea) designed for the mx-3 will barley be able to handle a drop of more than 1.5 inches. Heck, it says right in their product info!!<p>The ZX2 Tokico struts on the other hand have been designed for a heavier vehicle and can easily handle a lower drop without being overly strained. PLUS, this strut is 1/2" smaller than the oem mx-3 struts. So if your like me and want a 1.75 - 2" drop without buying the overpriced coilovers or cutting you're $500 springs, this is an excellent choice when paired up with a good set of lowering springs (Ex. Suspension Techniques).<p>P.S: The TOKICO Premium performance Struts designed for the mx-3 retail at C$188.00+tax each. That works out at about just over C$850.00 with taxes included (and these ones are under extreme strain when dropped below 1.5")! <p>Sure i could have cut corners and bought universal dust boots for the ZX2 struts and saved a good 70-80 bucks, but when it comes to the suspension of a car...i don't cut any corners. I decided to go with ZX2 Struts and suspension technique springs not because i was low on cash or anything...but because these were the only struts out there that will easliy handle a drop of 1.75+ inches AND i won't have to cut my springs now. Why? Cause the ZX2 struts are 1/2" shorter
