People like this remind me of the funniest thing i saw last week.. A guy had lowered his honda a significat amount.. so much so that he had barely any ground clearance.. The moral of the story being when the front part of his body kit got smashed as he was going over a bump.. I was the only one laughing as i watched his car drive by...

who ever thinks that Intrax springs are for racing is just plain dumb. those spings are not stiff at all and u will bottom out with them. Intrax springs are designed to give vehicle a lower stance without losing comfort. ofcourse the car will handle better but I wouldn't push those springs too hard.

i have to agree with Dj Pawz GS. Last year i got intrax springs ( didnt cut bump stops) and i never really ever bottom out, except when the car is fully loaded and hit a speed bump. My shocks have never bleed or blow yet. PLus they offer a great ride and you car still go hit up autocross on the weekends and have great handling. The car is lowered the right amount and takes away that rised tail appearce. As for strut travel, i know a guy with ground controls( 2 2.5 drop and cut bump stops) on stock struts( ever though i dont recommend it) and he still has a great ride and rarely bottems out compared to other dropped cars.

dj paws--------- of course, u will ride on your bumpstops during aggressive turning. That is why when u lower your car u must cut the bumpstops in half.

ground controls, tokicos, sways, strutbars and p7000 are my favorite mods on my car. yes my car is lowered 2.25" and yes i probably do ride on my bumpstops while I put turns in submission. but to have a car under $10,000 that could take a 40mph bend going 100mph is better then any rollercoaster ride and amuses me daily. :D

very true indeed and I have encountered such obstacles and I guess you can figure out the outcome. I don't play around when it comes to handling and I owe it all to grand turismo 1,2,3.
I have the mazdaspeed front and rear sways with no name struts(does the trick).
do you know any bushing sets for mx-3?
