Only thing i hatea bout the chrome ones, and the reason I think they look cheap & crappy is how the outer rim of the lights has a black line. Just shows you how crappily constructed they are.

At least that line is hidden on the black & cf ones. It'd be better if there wasn't a line like that. from a rear angle you can really see what i'm talking about.

I have to admit, I don't like altezza's much. It's been said many times that they are RICE.... but if you were to go with them, I'd go black or carbon. I do give Atlanta a thumbs up on the red ones though. I've been wondering how they would look if they whole lens was red. Not bad man.. :2thumbsup:

IMO...The blacker the better. Im gettin the black ones for my Teal car, but its gettin painted black. I think the chrome ones only look good on the nissan Altezza edition cars because they were the ones who started the thing. I see so many riced out hondas, cavaliers, and sadly my girlfriends Focus, with then. The black ones are more unique, which is what the MX-3 is all about, right guys?

I've got the stock mica blue on mine, and although silver does compliment fairly well with blue most times, in this particular case, I think I'm going to have to go with the black Altezza's for the fact that the chrome has been played out to the point where it cheapens the appearance, but mostly cuz since the mica blue is just so dark, black will probably end up being a smoother match.

Slightly off topic though, has anyone here ever have an issue with the fit of aftermarket tails? I've been told that they don't tend to have quite the same exact fit as the stock ones, and because of that, some people have experienced fog-up or moisture leakage within the lenses. Has this ever been a problem for anyone, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

If you must change your tailligts, get the black Altezzas. Chrome looks cheap.

I did a post on what rear clusters would look the best on my silver mx3 and decided the altezza wouldnt look as good on silver. But black/cf altezzas look damm good on black mxs. In the end I tinted my standard lights red and am damm impressed with the results. I masked off the reverse, and changed the standerd lamps for hyper bright led lamps, even these shine right through the red tint in orange for indiction, they make a big difference and keep everything legal.

Yeah altezza's seem like they have worn their welcome everywhere. You just see them on every car. I was toying with the black lights on my car(which is black). But I decided after seeing a couple cars that have their lights tinted red. That i'm going to do that instead. Its alot cheaper too!
