Re: Removing Hatch Garnish
Agreed, the flow would work much better if the hatch garnish itself was white as well as the spoiler in that pic. Just a thought though.

Re: Removing Hatch Garnish
If this pic is the type of spoiler you currently have, http://www.mx-3.com/se/blue-se.cfm then you do not have a garnish underneath and I believe you would need to have a garnish in place for installing the other wing types you mention.Originally posted by GoT_DaT_Mx3_Se:

Re: Removing Hatch Garnish
Same kind of question..I have yet to attempt this but...WHat needs to be done regarding the removal of the OEM spoiler? Mine rattles as sin, so I would like to put some sort of shock absorber underneath it, if possible!

Re: Removing Hatch Garnish
I highly doubt that your actual spoiler is rattling. It is more than likely the crap-plastic tricm in the hatch area and even more likely to be the 3rd brake light cover.
I had to crawl back there while mine was rattling to find the culprit & make sure that everything back there was secured nice & tight.

Re: Removing Hatch Garnish
Had same prob and turned out to be the 3rd brakelight housing itself that was rattling against the interior hatch surface from a mounting screw that had loosened a bit. Agreed, not likely to be your spoiler coming loose altho the sound would be from the same general area aye.
