You guys make things so complicated. Simply throw you're hard drive in another computer, copy you're files you want to keep onto the other computers hard drive. Now put you're hard drive back in you're computer and re-install windows.

Now simply throw you're hard drive back in the other computer...copy the files back, and viola. Easy as hell!
