what ecu did u guys have

i have been talking to derrik about this and he said that stand alone would only benifit me a little he said that there war a problem with the programing on your ecus because of the year of the car and that i would be fine with what i have for now

well if you had a sohc motor then im sure your fine but i know i did and im sure ashley had a 94+ dohc before swapping. so sohc you should be fine dohc i would get a stand alone. really though if you can afford a stand alone go ahead and get it. youll be glad you did.

i want to get a stand alone if it will benifit me enough to make it worth my while all that i want to know is that if i run it with out one ill be fine for the time being then when i have the extra cash i can get one

i just dont need to run into problems at this point ive put to money into this car

who much did your stand alone cost u

haltech around 1200.
tec's are a bit more.

You can find them on Ebay too, but as usual, buyer beware.
Make sure you're getting everything you need.
