new update - wheel spacers.

well they rubbed....... i had them on for about 2 weeks and just yesterday i took them off. i never took a picture because i did not like how the car looked at all.

the mx3 handled better around long high speed corners, but since i took them off i find it is a more responsive under slower speeds - good for dodging pot holes and bad man hole covers at the last second.

but anyways, for those who want wheel spacers - no you dont. and for those who want them anyways, i can probably sell you some.

What size wheel spacers you run? Pics of the rims with spacers on?

G/L with the sale, the car is a diamond in the rough. Keep your asking price the same

yep so no one ever emailed me once about my car being for sale and honestly i never tried to really get rid of it.

however heres whats new

my ze burns mass amounts of oil so its getting new piston rings and the heads are gettin sent in. new head gasket and crank bearings. sometime this winter. in the mean time ill smoke away.

i didnt like my mx3s stance so i replaced the h&r with a coil over sleeve kit used in cavaliers and sunfires. its adjustable ride height but thats it. on OE kyb struts. is a bumpy ride but handles so much better. its also actually low now.

i replaced my pass axle
another lifetime warranty free ball joint scam through work :D

front end is completely solid, no play whatsoever, brakes are mint still. tires aernt worn out.

it leaks gas a tiny bit and makes gurgling sounds when the gas cap is on. the power steering pump also leaks.

so really i keep topping my car up with lots of oil. gas and atf for the ps.

still seems to run mint tho? lots of power.

i got a lead on some 8" wide 16" rims with a wicked dish, black with a red stripe around the lip, not sure if they will fit but il stretch a tire over those rims anyways.

THIS WINTER
piston rings crank bearings, let the the machine shop do there magic and throw her back together.

also have a lead on a merceded benz kompressor eaton m62 shot neck suprcharger for 600 bucks. mmmmmmmmm gots me thinkin!!!!

pictures soom

Sad to hear about a few guys that got really bad ZE's this year. I must've got super lucky cuz I haven't had to add oil once since mine went in.

Sorry about your luck man. I remember how hard you worked getting it in there.

Don't give up!

i dont think im gonna give up on it. not alot of people have mx3s around where i live. and if they do they are 4 bangers with wheels and OE suspension.

might as well keep it, rebuild it this way i know exactly what i got goin on under the hood.

i always loved the rota slipstream rims. my buddy has a white set for his clean integra. his tires are worn out on these tho so hes runnin his stock 14s. but when he took them off at work, well, what a better time to see if i like how the slipstreams look on my car?

now last year i had 205 40 17 tires and H&Rs and still managed to have way to much wheel gap. im much lower now on my coil sleeve kit but you will notice the wheel gap with the slipstreams. they are 205 40 16 so they are way too small for a mx3.

anyways heres the rims and the "new" (to all of you except jwmx3 and whoever was at mom) ride height.

i must say i dont like the white too much but damn do they ever look good. they look amazing on his integra.

They look great! I would say keep em and rock 215 45 16's

I know you had a bad experience with wheels spacers before, but some 5mm spacers would help alot, are they 16x7?

yes they are 16 x 7. i like these also alot and was thinking 215 45 16 would look really good. but i think 205 50 16 might suit it a little better. i had problems with wheel spacers because the ones i had are ridiculously huge (over a inch) but 5mm would do them some good.

still sorta want a 8 inch wide big dish rim that i can stretch a 195 series tire over.

Yea I hear ya on the strech.. not sure how it would look with the stupid fender wells on the mx. 205 50 would work to yea, they just look abit skinnier from the back, I prefer 215's on a 7" rim.

Anyways, keep em, there sick
