yep your exactly right. 1000 - 1500. i hope probinator emails me back otherwise im going to mississauga. the idle is weird, if i shut the car off and then start it up it idles fine, if i pull forwards enough that i would have to shift into second or push the clutch in and come to a stop then it will idle up and down. its as if that once it gets into the rhythm of going up and down, it cant stop.

when i get the ecu im going to adjust my disty for perfect timing, and if the idle is still persistant up and down then maybe it has to do with my front valve cover breather that i dont have on this valve cover. probably not but we'll see.

i am still running the klze on the K8 ecu and i havent adjusted the disty since i put it in. i wonder if my timing is whats causing the up and down idle, or if its simply because my ecu is like WTF WHERE DID THIS EXTRA 700cc's COME FROM.
mine did the same thing till i got it chipped. the idle was bouncing all over the place! i think it was bouncing around over a 1000 rpm range... yea... get it chipped.
gettin it chipped has nothing to do with the iratic idle...You guys just need to adjust the tps once the idle is set. I have ran my ze on a k8 ecu and had a perfect idle. and I know like 3 or 4 others that have as well

so i just finished my 1000 KM clutch brake in. so i took a trip down to a old airport on private property with medical staff on hand in case of an emergency  and took it right up into the rpms. its extremely quick off the bat, accelerates extremely hard compared to the 1.8 (and the saturn i just drove all winter). but from like 165 - 210 is kind of so so. it still goes like its possessed but i think a litttle boost will do it some good....

For me on the stock tranny first gear sucks. Second is the big acceleration gear. And passing on the highway is just awesome. 100kph to 150kph feels like a freight train.

You're gonna love it. It's not like 350Z fast, but it's much better than stock.

Wow that's sexy. Did you paint it yourself or did you pay a body shop? I'm looking to paint mine soon but I don't wanna spend much money.
