Should I trade my car...

Post by azmtbkr81 »

You guys might think I'm crazy but I am thinking about trading my MX-3. My dad has a '94 Accord EX 5 speed with the V-Tech 2.4L engine, leather, and like 78,000 miles. he said that he wants a new car at the end of the summer and he will sell my MX-3 and give me the Accord. My best friend said he might be willing to buy my MX so at least I know it would be in good hands. Do you guys think I should go for it? Which car is better performance and reliability wise? Let me know what you guys think I should do.

very practical car, amazing daily driver, but no chance of customizing it (bodywise) if you are thinking about that.
I am currently in the market to buy another car to replace my mx3, one is another Lexus IS300 (this time i want a white) or an AUDI A4 1.8T quattro, both are very fun cars to drive, and both are falling bad in value and its a good time to buy either one. :D

Im sorry but you can customize the crap out of Accord's, especially body wise. I've seen many of em' around.

ya zytariuk is right, you can do enough to an accord, prolly more then a mx. Accords are nice cars, but a lot more common then our cars

hmm...that might be a little ways off but its a nice goal to shoot for! I really wish I could have both cars but I just don't think it would be practical.

My ex had a 94 accord...it was pretty cool. Very comfy...spacious, and the interior was kinda cool looking.

i wouldn't trade for an accord, its honda , yes it will last u a while but then u get no torque as much as mazda engines do, and simply everyone has accord, how many nice mx3's u see around, very few if ure lucky and then in 30 years theyre gonna be classic, actually 20 more left for mine...and you could hot rod it. its gonna be one of a kind car thats for sure..

I would be all over that Accord for sure.. I love that style and with V-tec you can't lose.. they have good power and great highway car and comfortable.. and you can do some mean swaps in that car--- the H22 would be unreal.. I know a couple of them around here and they run high 13's with that motor
this one is bad ***
Image
Image
Image
and this car is also for sale at the current moment

look jeff why dont u go and buy it then so u can join typer.com? huh why not? u could swap in that "bad *** " H22 and still get beaten by mx3 that runs A/C on and going uphill. ure a newbie learn some about engines. now if u swapped H22 in civic hatch CX which is lightest.....still ud get beaten by mx3 with ze lol. but ud be faster in civic hatch than honking turtle accord

I know nothing about cars?? that's a good judgement about someone you know nothing about.. I was right in my last post.. you are a moron.. and if you think that your mx3 could beat a Accord with an H22 OBD2 in it then I would love to see it!! LOVE to..... and you think that I don't know that the hatch is the lightest.. who doesn't know that.. the Civic VX to be exact not the CX.. but that must have been a typo on yoru part right??? no no.. you really are a moron and you don't know that.. oh wait.. maybe it's not.. I know nothing about it.. I must be wrong.
and a ZE will not beat an accord with an H22 OBD2
there is a MX-3 with a ZE in it around her and a few with the H22 OBD2(and I'm sure that you know the difference between OBD1 and 2 right???) and it does not beat it.. So... anything else ? Cool guy.. you seem to be worked up? .. but you are right, I know nothing about engines nothing at all.

i dont know about where you all live...but accords and civics...it's kind of stupid to buy them here...they just get stolen WAYYYyyyy too much. because there are so many of em the parts availability is CRAZY...and people sup em up and then...they get stolen. people know exactly how to steal em too...even if you put alarms on em or get the security chips...very easy to get around. people are always on the lookout to steal cars like accords. nobody would ever think twice about stealing a mazda though...just...my thoughts on the matter. (you traitor) heh. ;)
