I know this isn't really the right place for this post. <P>Do those of you driving red mx-3's get pulled over a lot? I'm considering painting my car blue just cause I keep getting pulled over. I got pulled over Thurs. night for 48 in a 45. the cop let me go after he harassed me for awhile and stuck his head inside my car and sniffed. then i got pulled over again last night, i wasn't even speeding. the best this cop could do is ask me if I had any neon lights on my car and if I'd been in camble county lately. after answering no to both he let me go too, but this is getting to be a serious nuisance. I've been pulled over 3 times in the passed 2 weeks, and I don't even speed, (When there's cops around!)

I got asked if i was selling at a 7/11 earlier that night, someone said it was a blue dodge neon, dammit my car is not a f*cking dodge neon they dont even have a hatch

i have a red one, but i don't get hassled...even with blue headlights...but that may be because i have primered hood/fenders!

Here's a trick for you. If they ask you what you're doing, say it's none of their business. If they ask you what you have in your car, say it's none of their business. If they ask you to get out the your car, tell them no, because you don't have to.<P>They can't make you do any of the above, and if they do, you can sue them.<P>I did.<P>~A

Though you may have the right to "remain silent", you should not be a jerk to a po-po, or they will find a reason to ticket you/take you in...<P>Also I believe this post would go in the "general mx-3" forum...<P>I've been pulled over on the highway, she said I was doing 145 (km) and I know that I wasn't, becuase my cruise was set for 115km/h like I always do on the way home. So I argued (politely) for 10 minutes and she finally believed me, and let me go with no ticket...<P>later.

I have only been pulled over twice over past year ive had my red mx-3. I talked my way out of both. I try to avoid cops. Once I get a body kit and new paint job im probably gonna be pulled over alot though. hehe

I think Aiden has a good point. I use his style because I have a big Dorito on my shoulder. I've been brought in twice for absolutely no reason. B & E with an illegal weapon and assault. Both times they had the wrong guy, and both times I got fingered for drugs up my a$$ (which they found none), and a night in a holding cell. And this has nothing to do with me in my car. <BR>Just know your rights before you do anything crazy. And once they cuff you, shut the hell up, or they'll take you down to the beaches and beat you with a telephone book.<BR>Just lookin' out for ya. <P>one

i have a red car(incase u didn't notice by my sig)and ever since i cleaned my car up good and got my wheels cops follow me just waiting for me to do something wrong so when they get behind me i turn off my subs keep the rpms to a mincause of my exhaust and do like 3mph under the speed limit just to piss em off.

Yeah, they follow me, I just turn off in to a neighboorhood or something. One time one followed me for like five miles, I went to walmart and he followed into the parking lot too! The thing that pisses me off is that I wasn't doing nething illegal, but just cause the way my car looks he was waiting for me to do something....don't these ppl have something better to go after?? Stupid Commonwealth!

If you really want to piss them off drive 5mph under the speed limit. They hate it and will tailgate you and stuff. Another way to piss a cop off is to ride side by side to him for as long as you can without speeding. That really makes them mad.

Ever since i put the new "muffler" on my car, i've been pulled over by 4 county officers, a state trooper, 2 officers in the next town over, a mall security guard patrolling the lots, and 2 campus "police". And people down the street from me have called the police on me for disturbing them with the noise out of my muffler. (all in the past week) And it is 50 state legal so there isnt anything they can do, but it still irritates the hell out of me. Not to mention i had my license taken away and had to attend a driver improvement course for 8 hours on a satuday, and pay over $175 in fines for taking my seatbelt off at a red light to get my glasses out of the backseat. Lousy Oinkers...
