what was an old school board(80's) that started with a "V"? it was one of the cheaper brands...almost generic. veraflex comes to mind...but not sure. if anyone knows...help me out here :D

I'm thinking Varaflex too, but I cant think of anything else that starts with a V. Whats that other REALLY cheap brand that was around back in the days too?????

yep, just saw an article on the veraflex...so i was right :D the other cheap board was Nash.

Dude, dont hate...I had a nash! My g-ma bought it for me when i was like 7. It was the shiot.

Yeah my first board was a nash too. That thing was the cause of many scrapes scratches and bruises, but man oh man, do chicks ever dig Skater guys with battle scars! :D

I use to have a neon orange nash skateboard. Then I got a CCS blank...then I started driving.

Dude i had the hot orange one too! It had like a saw design on it. It was so awsome. Man i miss those days.. that was like last year. :D j/k

you guys are lucky. my first board was a clear red banana board....for real(by the way, i'm only 22). then i got the wood color nash with the saw design. but i got lucky for christmas and got the veraflex. it sucked cause my friend got a powell perolta(sp) at the same time.

my 1st was a "Big Red" in like 1980-81<P> Image <P>Thats OLD school! My uncle gave it to me when I was young.

yea well, it broke when I was a kid, Id love to still have it. Take it somewhere and ride it in public LOL. <BR>Funny thing is.. it was made of plastic. My uncle broke it riding it.

Man I remember those boards, but I really was a skateboarder when I was younger. Doing ollie over other skateboards. I remember the board being being wider and having nothing for the nose. I also remember wiping out and having a rock in my hand. Gross stuff.
