New Mazda 3 is Awesome

Post by large member »

I suggest every one go to there closest mazda dealership a try a mazda 3. I am not sure but i belive it is the new generation Mx-3. The handling and acceleration was amazing and has a taller gear ratio that the mx-3 giving it a higher max mph. The 5 door with a sport package was the one i tryed and that will definitly be my next car :froggie_red:

Take an MX-3, add about 90 more hp, add a VERY better suspension system so you can't feel a thing when your ride. smoother acceleration, revs easily, and has a very curvy mody that is just asking for acarbon fiber and a nice wing.....

I'll take a pic when i can of a very nice M3....

mazda went all out on the 3 and 6....
ALSO... on a lighter note, the headlights are very sexy.....

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I really don't get why mazda felt it necessary to take their best selling / most money making car (the protege), make it look like a PT Cruiser / Toyota Matrix bastard child on crack & rename it "3". They could've at least styled it more on lines with the previous protege / protege5 it replaces. I think the 99-03 Familia/Protege was one of the nicest styled sedans of recent history. P5 looked awesome too.

Then again...its not as bad as some of the new cars that companies are coming out with...like the bmw 5-series, 7-series, toyota corolla (ewwww), new maxima (puke!), accord, camry...they all look like crap with ridiculous headligts & dome-cabin shapes.

personally i really like the styles the new cars are going to these days, its nice to see a change once in a while. About the bmw's you mentioned, i think they look awsome, esspecialy the rims, bmw makes the best rims imo. eccept for that stupid shark fin on the roof, it ruins the whole flow of those cars.

Don't mean to disrespect anyone's opinions... But car designs has been going down-hill since 98 or so.. Probably a bit earlier.
The newer Civics are bigger and bubblier than the older Accords, and the NEWER Accords are f*king boats..
Mazda is even jumping on the bubble car bandwagon. INFACT, I haven't seen a company that hasn't... Cars are getting bigger and uglier by the month. Just look at the new "artsy" SUV's..
Atleast the Miata kept its beauty.
And the Stang. Celicas are aight too.

Don't get me started on other companies... Chrysler, Ford, GMC or... Hummer... :dunno:

The new t-bird doesnt look nething like the old one, buts it's stil a t-bird...catch my drift.

Saying that, the m-3 is not a replacement for the mx-3. Mazda doesnt need a replacement for it, they never sold enough.

actually the new thunderbird does look somewhat like the old ones... take a look at the 55-57 t-birds and 61-62 t-birds they took their design from those cars
