my car????

Ok this may rank in one of the top dumbest questions. But, how can i tell if my car is a rs, gs or whatever?

4 cylinder engine = rs
6 cylinder engine = gs<p>im only 16 and i dont have probs with answering questions like these. but it seems almost everyone else does, so i figured id reply first and let u know b4 ne one else gives u alot of bs about it.

i seen in another topic somebody labeled theirs a "gs se" how would you know if it was a se?

we all gotta ask dumb questions once in a while gs=6cyl
rs=4cyl sohc/dohc
se special edition(leather seats and all that good stuff)(wish i had one or at least a v6)
from what i seen(some1 correct if im wrong)rs'sohc have one small muffler tip,rs'dohc has two small muffler tips,gs(se or not)has a single but bigger than rs mufflers tips...<p>[ July 21, 2003: Message edited by: anjin1982 ]</p>

i think it depends on the year really. My 95 RS and my 192 GS had the same type dual tip muffler.

OK i just noticed on my vin # plate on the passenger side it has special edition on it. but it doesnt have leather seats. i bought the car used with a little bit of mods. so its possible i have a 95 rs se? i have no clue. this should be my last question. thanks all.

I thought SE's only came in 93 because it was the 25th anniversery in Canada. Correct me if im wrong.

I know on this site there is a time line and it says 93 has an SE and no other years do. So I dont know what to tell you.
