Fuel pump works great! (No power however..)

Post by gravbot »

Hi,

My fuel pump is working great but however no power is going to it! The reason i know the fuel pump is working is because i bypassed the entire system and applied a jumper directly from the battery to the pigtail harness at the gas tank, grounding the other lead to complete the circuit and i fuel pump work. does anyone knows what's wrong? Thxs

Have you checked the fuse?

What year is your car? Someone with the right manual might be able to tell you the electrical path to the fuel pump to give you more clues.

Also see if you can find a voltmeter so you can trace the power through the system. Good luck.
