Top Speed, anyone?

Hey, I'm just curious what the top speed anybody has reached in their 4-cyl. I have a 94, DOHC, not long after I bought it and everything was still stock, I hit 130 mph. Yeah, some may not believe it. I don't remember what rpm was at the time, but it was a smooth ride. Why did I push it?? I got passed while going 80, by some white car (can't remember) doing about 100, and decided to catch up...it was FUN. I have loved this little car ever since.

I did 115 mph in Florida at 5500 rpm with a 93 SOHC. It was a rush; I was with two friends in a S2000 and a WRX, they couldn't believe it.

112 mph 1.6 dohc ran out of room, very slow acceleration with intake, exahust, advanced timing, spark plugs, thats basically all my perf mods

redlining 4th gear i was going 190 could of gone to 220+ but to scared and it's stupid

My car has been maxed out at 118 MPH. My brother did that when the car was all stock and on regular. Now when it has premium i don't know. I do know that the MX-3 loves to cruze around 95 MPH Uphill even. That was fun... Went 95 for 8 miles up a hile useing the trucking lane we passed 25+ cars and they were all going 70 so it didn't matter to them.

with a cone filter and beather filter hit 125 on 5th gear like 5800 rpm. SOHC with oringal tranny

after i broke it and got it rebuild only 115 on 4th gear at 6000 rpms still had anothe 500 till i hit 6500 it was still pushin but i let go cause i was already winning. i still have another gear u know what they say ur tranny never same after its rebuilt.

iv done 138 mph was still climbing good, i was at 5500 RPM.

Awesome!! Hope nobody got tickets! I've done a CAI on a J-spec engine I just swapped, but haven't pushed it, yet. Everybody who has seen that the speedometer goes to 150mph has asked if it could really go that fast. Looks like we've definately gotten close to it!

lol i can barely get my car over 80! and when i do i can see my gas guage go down at a very fast rate.

i have a SOHC 1.6 and me and my three friends hit 122 in a stock car wiht NO exhaust what so ever

oh yeah and it took a long *** time
